Service Coordinator

Role Description

The Service Coordinator is responsible for taking care of customer equipment and tools received for repair and preparing necessary documents for repair like Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, etc. He/she will also be responsible for keeping an inventory for parts, tools, etc. to minimize interruption for repair and ensure quick turnaround. The Service Coordinator will also provide Back Office support to the Sales Team with Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing and keeping inventory for part, tools required for the repair
  • Contact customers, review estimates and all documents for repair of customer equipment/tools
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors
  • Maintaining, purchasing, organizing and keeping accurate inventory for parts and tools in stock
  • Work closely with shipping and receiving to manage movement of tools and inventory.
  • Preparing Sales Orders for incoming items
  • Preparing Purchase orders when required for tools sent to manufacturers or 3rd party vendors

Qualification and Requirement

  • Completion of High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skill and Superior Customer Service Skills
  • Acute attention to details and excellent organization skills
  • Understand Sense of urgency for quick turn around
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks an asset
  • Driver Licence
  • Comprehend and follow safety regulations and instructions
