Multi-Angle Socket Wand

Part # : RC403-0184

The articulated gear mechanism of the insulating rod with multi-angle socket allows the electrician to adjust the appropriate angle for the placement of the socket and the position of the nuts when working on energized installations, using the remote method.
The fiberglass tie rod installed parallel to the tube, attached to the handle, is responsible for stabilizing the gear head, keeping it aligned even when the rod is turned.

As a complementary part of the gear, there is the 1/2" square fitting, responsible for the connection with the sockets that will operate the nuts.
The gear angle can be previously adjusted to a variation of up to 140° in relation to the rod, through the two wing nuts on the head.

The gear housing head is made of bronze alloy and the gears are made of special heat-treated steel. This versatile hardware set is installed in the RITZGLAS® tube to ensure the safety distance and necessary insulation.

WARNING
This rod is mechanically dimensioned only for adjusting the nut, with a maximum torque of 2.0 daN.m / 15 ft-lb.
Its tightening with the appropriate torque must be done with the rod with a flexible socket.
